The Villain's Time

"Sleeping..." he grumbles, taking off his shoes and trousers, and lies on top of the bed and grunts.

Jack bursts through the window, landing perfectly into an empty room, His ears perked.
He hears voices.
"Nicole..?" He whispers.

Joker sighs, and closes his eyes.

"Mum!!!!!" A child screams, watching his father stab his mother with a knife.
The child runs up to his bleeding mother, stroking her cheek and turning to his father, tears in his eyes
"What have you done!? Look at her!!" The little boy shouts, tears running down his face.
His mother coughs blood
"Jared.. it's okay." She splutters.
Jared looks at her
"Mother.. please stay with me.. I'll fix you up.. like I always do." Jared said, tears falling down his face.
"I love you Jared.. make me proud.." The woman's eyes fade, her life slipping away, her 15 year old son crying over her limp body.
Jareds father grabs his shoulder, spinning him around, knife in hand. He punches Jareds face and Jared falls back, crashing into a wall.
"Father..." he weeps, blood tricking from his lips.
The man grabs Jareds face, and brings the knife closer and slashes his left cheek, and cuts across his eye.
Blood was pouring down Jareds face, and Jared felt something change inside him.. his eyes light with rage as he kicks his fathers stomach, making him fall back.
Jared grabs the knife his father had just cut him with and walks up to his dad.
"You killed mother..." he growls, falling to his knees on top of his fathers chest.
He flips the knife and stabs his fathers throat, rage flowing through his body.
His father splutters "Jared..." before his eyes go grey, and his body stops twitching.
Jared stands up, all rage gone and replaced with grief for his dead parents.
He falls to his knees
"What have I done.. what will I do?" He cries.

Joker wakes up with a jolt, cold sweat dripping down his forehead. He grabs his knife, blindly, and roars.
"FUCK!" He snarls.


Jack runs up
"Nicole!!" He says.
Jack looks at the dog.
"Who are you!?" He says
"Nicole? What the fuck happened, why are you here?" He says.

Joker gets up and off the bed, sweat still dripping off his body.
He opens his wardrobe, and grabs his blue shorts and a white tank top.
Joker chucks them on quickly.
He walks through the halls, and opens the door to the basement, which is Jokers private gym.
He walks in and starts with the punching bag, punching the shit out of them and releasing all his stress and anger.


Jack thinks.
"I'm gonna get you out of here.." he growls.

Jack looks at the metal bars, a solid chain keeping the door shut.
"Well, fuck.." Jack mutters
"I'm gonna have to do this again.." he mutters.
"Stand back." He orders.
He walks back and takes a run at the door, clattering with the metal, denting it.
He shakes himself, pushing aside the pain of the impact, and gets ready to do it again.

Joker has a sudden burst of anger, and he full-force punches the punchbag, breaking the chain it was attached to and sending it flying across the room.
"Fuck." He mutters
"That was the best one I have." He growls, not knowing what to do with himself.
He looks over at the weights and shrugs, and decides to go lift them.
He grabs a large one to begin with, lifting it effortlessly.

Jack growls
"No.."
He runs up at the door, throwing his entire weight at it. The metal makes a loud breaking noise as the screws break and the door caves in.
He shakes his head, aware of the blood flowing from his nose from the impact.
"Get out-" he looks at the dog and frowns
"Both of you." He grunts.


Joker growls hearing the banging upstairs.
He throws the weight across the room, frustratedly. The dream tormenting his mind.
He takes the sweaty tank top off, leaving him in a pair of shorts, without socks or shoes.
Joker huffs, looking around him, spotting the old chain from his punching bags and lifts it, to find it's fully functional.
He smirks, hooking up his punching bag, and gets back to work, punching it.

Jack walks through, silently.

Joker's mothers eyes fell into his mind again, and he snarled and punched the Punchbag, managing to snap the new chain.
"FUCK!!" He shouts.
He grabs one of the heavy weights and throws it across the room, putting a hole in the wall.
He snarls, upturning the entire weight stand.
They all fall to the floor, causing a massive clattering noise.

Jack runs, jumping up through the window.
"Calm.." he mutters.
He looks at the dog.
"You gonna make it?" He asks.

Joker sits on the floor, against the concrete wall.
He sighs, and looks around at the room.
He slicks his hair back, muttering, before getting up and stomping up the stairs.

Jack nods.
"Come, Nicky."
He points at the dog
"Who's he?" He asks.

Joker pushes the door open with a bang, and looks at Harley, before grunting and walking over to the bar and pouring himself a vodka.
He looks at the clock; 7am.
He mutters
"Fuck sake.."

Jack frowns
"Is he coming with us?" He says.

Joker looks at her, and gives her a deadly good-morning-to-you-too-you-lucky-cunt face.
He sips his vodka
{Why not get pissed at 7am.} he thinks, huffing.

Jack frowns, waiting on the dog.

"You don't know shit, Harley." He growls.
The pain and upset in his mothers eyes keep flashing into his head, each time reflecting on his own, but it quickly flashes back to anger.

Jack nods and begins to walk slowly home, limping slightly on his front right paw.

Joker frowns and throws the glass across the room, it smashing in impact.
He lies his head in his hands, shaking his head, pissed of with himself more than anything.

"I'm okay.." Jack mutters, knowing she's trying to help.

"Reasons." He snaps, in a growling tone,not bothering to look up.

"I'm not lying, I'm fine honestly, it just hurts." He murmurs

He looks up at her angrily
"Use that tone again with me..." he growls.
"A rough morning? Ha. Telling me about a rough morning?" He snarls.

Jack walks on, smiling.

Joker slams his fist on the worktop and stands up, walking over to Harley slowly.
He towers over her, because she's not wearing her boots.
He pushes her backwards, easily, onto the couch.
He looks down at her and sneers
"Equal? Oh, we'll never be fucking equal."
